ZONE 1: FANZONE
Player One's MVP, ZONE 1: FANZONE, will be complete and ready for activation with major Rights Holders in April 2026. Originally planned as a proof of concept product to gain case studies, insight and data against which we can secure additional Rights Holder contracts and raise further investment, ZONE 1: FANZONE will instead become a medium to long term product for unrivalled fan engagement and matchday/event activations and second screen experiences whilst we build out the full ZONE 1 product and continue to fundraise, and will eventually sit within ZONE 1 as Rights Holder ZONE 1: FANZONES within their own stadium-based ZONES.


Who adds a blurred video to their website?
We do. Because within this developing product are club colours and IP. It's not a club we have contracted with - yet - but with whom we are deep in discussions with and we've mocked up how ZONE 1: FANZONE could look for them. But we're also creating a Player One branded version, for general demonstration, so as soon as that is ready it will be added in its full, crystal clear glory.
What is ZONE 1: FANZONE?
Studies have shown that 60% of sport fans have a second screen experience, whether on social media, on YouTube, in WhatsApp Groups or via live text feeds on sports news websites, although the reality is likely to be much higher: Medium reported in 2025 that 83% of Gen Z fans have a second screen experience, whilst Google reported in March 2026 that 90% of sports fans use a second screen whilst watching live matches. From a Rights Holder perspective, this means that the overwhelming of their fans are having a second screen experience that they are not benefiting from. These are THEIR fans but third party platforms own the experience, the conversation, the data and the monetisation. We give Rights Holders the power.
